I've been on vacation the last few days and it's led me to realize a few things.  First of all, Buffy is the best show.  Ever.  Second of all, we're all alone.  No one cares about your pain because they are too busy with their own. 
I'm reading 'And the Band Played On' a book about the early days of the AIDS crisi...so sorry for the maudlin.  Pretty engrossing though, but also heartbreaking when you know what was to come.  Plus season 6 of Buffy...pretty grim stuff I guess.

What do you do when someone you thought was lost forever suddenly pops up at you?  And your feelings were never fully gone?  Oh well, who cares, being alone is better for me, I have decided.  That way I can pick up and leave whenever.
